  1. My question here would be: What exactly am I donating too?

I am considering applying for 501(c)3 status for Frankly Speaking: Alzheimer’s, which is currently an LLC. If that becomes the case, then donations would be tax-deductable; however, for now as an LLC, any monies shared are considered “completion funding”. I use funds first and foremost to buy tape stock, as I have been shooting for 3 years and have been purchasing all supplies and equipment out-of-pocket the entire time. Completion Funding funds simply help me keep doing what I’m doing with this project, which to date has not made me a dime. It has been done from my heart in an effort to educate the world at large of this healthcare and humankind tragedy at hand, and also to help support families who receive that awful diagnosis and don’t know what to do, where to go, or how to take that next breath. I have also recently purchased some equipment and software with which to edit a trailer for the movie so that I can get into more of a professional stage of completion with the movie. Every little bit helps me keep the dream alive. Thanks for considering supporting. The best to you… and I hope you keep in touch! 🙂
